Located at the southern point of South Beach (Jolly Beach) and Jolly Harbour, there are 30 cottages (6 different types), each with an outdoor shower and ocean view. And the views are spectacular Caribbean seascapes. Some up and downhill walking is needed to access the cottages so you should be reasonably able-bodied to walk up moderate hills for short periods to stay. Cocos welcomes any couple of any definition. Cocos is all-inclusive so enjoy a daily restocking of your room fridge and fresh delicious food and drink. The only optional extras you can purchase are romantic beach dinners, vintage wines, and floating snacks for a plunge pool treat! Otherwise, the resort is fully all-inclusive.
Food and Drink
The onsite restaurant Coco's will cater to pretty much all tastes (American, Caribbean, Latin American), and the customer reviews speak very highly of the attention to detail. Browse or download the menus for the week here. We generally serve European sized portions but are happy to upsize according to you. There is a delivery charge for room service at 20 USD if you prefer to dine in.

Sunset Pool Cottages
These are the closest most spacious rooms at 1400 square feet, and sit the closest to Valley Church Beach (1 min downhill).
Private plunge pool, loungers, and spacious deck with shade if you like. Outdoor shower. The sea views and sunsets are as good as you can get!
Sunset Pool Cottages include air conditioning, a private balcony with hammock and Adirondack chairs, fun outdoor showers with a view, king size four poster bed fitted with mosquito net, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bathrobes, pool towels (in addition to regular linen), free WIFI and mini-bar that is restocked daily.
Cottages DO NOT include TV and are 110v 60 cycles with North American sockets.
These Cottages are usually in high demand and early booking is advised.
Beach Front Pool Cottage
This is a one-off unit! Closer to Valley Church Beach than the Sunset Pool cottages as you are right on the beach. However, you are then slightly further from reception and other parts of the hotel with the exception of the beach bar! Size wise the cottages are approx. 1200 square feet.
Bay View Pool Cottages (*NEW For December 2023*)
Closer to the main reception and northern Jolly Beach end. Views over the glistening bay. As typical as the other units enjoy your own infinity plunge pool sundeck and loungers.
These new dwellings also feature air conditioning, a private balcony with hammock and Adirondack chairs, rainforest outdoor showers with a view over Jolly Bay, king size four poster bed, a mosquito net, a safe, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, free WIFI and mini fridge that is restocked daily. These Cottages are new so we don't know how in demand they will be for December 2023. Check Booking.com for this room and others now. Sunset View Cottages
The higest types of room are the cottages on the hill. The upside is unobstructed 180 degree views of the sea and sunset. You are also equidistant between Jolly Beach and Valley Church Beach. These have no plunge pool. The walk to the reception is around 4 minutes. The rooms plus balcony are around 900 square feet so these rooms are not the largest available at Cocos Hotel.

Premium View Cottages
A bit of a misleading name as the view isn't as good as the cottages higher up (sunset view) some vegetation obscures the view.

We think you will find the views more than impressive all the same.
Also, the showers are more enclosed than other rooms. These rooms are closer to Jolly Beach and reception and restaurant are just 1-2 minutes away. The balcony plus rooms are approx. 900 square feet in area.

Lower down the hill and shorter walks are the standard view rooms having beach or pool views. These are the hotel's entry-level rooms at 400 square feet approx. of space including the balcony.

Activities

Situated meters away from excellent snorkling you should give that a try. Or burn off some rum punch with a kayak the water is calm and friendly. If you want something more relaxed away from the sun we have some board games and yoga. With nightly entertainment that is low-key and local you will not want to leave when the time comes. Spa treatments are also available onsite; facials, manicures and pedicure treatments.
