It’s the biggest event of the year in Antigua: Colourful costumes,street parades and markets, beauty pageants, talent shows, and live music – it’s one of the best carnivals in the world presenting Antigua Carnival.
Starting July 28 and running until August 8 (so everyone gets to enjoy), the annual celebration takes over all of Antigua! There are all sorts of levels of energy fitting to most everyone so feel very comfortable and welcome. Carnival features a broad range of musical styles, melanging musically the sounds of many cultures such as calypso, steel pan or drum, soca steel drum, reggae. It really is the event of the year.
