antigua-snorkeling
explore antigua by self drive speedboat above and below the waves

This is an Antigua favourite! When do you get the chance to self drive yourself across crystal clear water and then dive in among the stingrays fish and turtles? Of course they are not guaranteed but there would always be pretty fish and the adventure you will remember. The tour takes two and a half hours and we can arrange you a complete pick up and drop off service to your villa resort or crise ship. You don't need any prior knowledge of either snorkling or the speedboats and so the tour is available to most everyone.

Reef Riders Snorkling Adventure

Firstly after the groups have assembled an induction into the use of the reef riders is conducted. They are easy and a lot of fun to drive. After the brief you head out past resorts and the south west of Antigua towards the best reef in town; Cades Reef. You get from 45 to 1 hour to snorkle which is usually enough for everyone. There is lots of soft and hard coral to see and a wreck of a yacht. If you are lucky you might spot turtles and stingrays (which are harmless). After the snorkling there is more fun time on the boat and it is back to the harbour and terra firma.

The minimum age is 5 accompanied by an adult 18 and above as driver.

Wet and Dry All Day Tour

There is an extended tour which is the standard 2.5 hr tour plus visitng the island and English Harbour which makes a full day. Lunch is included but not entry to the docks which is 10 USD per person extra. You get to view from above Antigua at Shirley Heights and also drive through Antigua's rainforrest on fig tree drive (Fig is the Antiguan word for banana).

DPV Option

A diver propulsion vehicle option is available, these easy to use systems pull you through the water and are a fun alternative to traditional snorkeling. For a couple sharing a boat and each having a DPV the price is 130 USD.
