This 4x4 vehicle tour takes in some of the key cultural places of interest on the island, from Devil's Bridge to Betty's Hope, with lunch, beverages and admission fees thrown in. This is very popular with cruise ship visitors.
Island Tour Overview
The tour lasts approximately 4 hours and departs between 8.30am-9am from your hotel or cruise ship.
There will be some walking around the attractions visited, but even those that are less mobile should be able to partake. However, if mobility is extremely limited or walking aids/wheelchairs are used it will not be suitable due to the uneven terrains. Also those with back problems may not be suited due the 4x4 experience on Antiguan roads! The only other caution advised would be at Devil's Bridge, where those who choose to venture out onto the ledge itself should be careful, as it is by it's very nature rugged and slippery and certain types of footwear (flip flops/thongs) may make things more interesting!
Children are welcome on the tour and would certainly enjoy it, but it would be advised to mention any special requirements needed (car seats etc) in advance with the tour operator. This tour would also suit single travellers.
