Located in St Johns is the well known and reknowned Papa Zouk Rum Shop. It's much more than a rum shop and has some amazing food. There is no menu instead the patron Bert Kirchner will come to visit and tell you what is on offer.
It only opens 7 til 10 pm and closes sunday.
'Ti Punch' a speciality of the 'rum shack' is something every rum lover should try. Now additionaly the fire rum perhaps one of the more intriguing blends. What created fire rum was a fire. Luckily local support helped rebuild Papa Zouk after a fire and much of the rum was damaged - a massive blend was created from what was untouched.
Bert is a German film producer and still works in film for Antigua these days and of course keeping the legend of Papa Zouk intact.
